I am entering this layout into a challenge at Berry71Bleu

The topic of this challenge is "Simple Pleasures"

And for me, drinking coffee in a small french cafetèria means a really beautiful time:)

This mood board from Scrap Around The World is really beautiful. So gently, but so strong as well.
I also like the rules of this challenge - I can do anythig I want, I just can let me inspire by this mood board. I really like it!

I wanted to do some layout with this black&white photo from me and my sister (btw., I was 4 years old and my sister was 10 :). I was thinking about it many times, but I still couldn`t find the right solution. This photo is really dark and I wanted to do something optimistic and not sad! And as I saw this mood board, I knew, that I found the right way to express my feelings. Yes, it is an old photo, not really a spontaneous one :)
I used an old piece of broken earring to express, that on one hand this time is gone, but on another hand, the piece of dried plant looks like beeing still alive. And a gentle touch of this fresh colour...I think this is exactly what I was looking for to make it more optimistic :)
